COMMUNICATE “Communicate unto the other person that which you would want him to communicate unto you if your positions were reversed.” -Aaron Goldman Mentors and Mentees should meet regularly to communicate milestones, progress, and concerns as they work together to see that their goals and objectives are being met. To build an effective mentor and mentee relationship, both participants must agree to the same defined goals, understanding what is expected of them to achieve those goals within the designated timeframe of the mentorship commitment. This knowledge will allow the mentor and mentee to form an actionable plan around how best to achieve the outcomes they want to accomplish. |
